Hey moms and dads! My name is Denice, I’m born and raised in Canada, and currently residing in Austin, Texas. I’m married to an OG Austin-ite and we have a 2 year old son! I had my son during covid so my family wasn’t able to visit. I felt alone. “Is this normal? Why am I crying all the time? What’s happening to my body? Why do my boobs hurt? Will I ever be able to sleep again? I don’t want to do this anymore.” These were the thoughts running through my mind for the first 6 weeks. If I had someone to guide me through this first-time motherhood experience or just hold my baby so I could sleep, that would’ve saved me so much anxiety and exhaustion.

I became awakened to the lack of support for new mothers here in America. So I became certified as a Postpartum Doula and began my work to help new moms and dads! I’ve also been a nanny/childcare worker for over 10 years, so let’s just say I love babies!
